I am picking up my new 2022 Ford F-250 Super Duty next week and I need a new 5th wheel hitch for my camper. I don't want to reuse the old hitch as it going to go with the old truck. What hitch do you recommend for me to be able to use with the new truck? It is a short bed and has the in bed hitch system.

I recommend the Demco Hijacker Autoslide 5th Wheel Hitch # DM8550024 for your 2022 Ford F-250. This hitch will drop into the factory prep/puck system and the auto sliding 5th wheel hitch will keep you from having to get out of your truck to reposition the hitch for maneuvering. The hitch is rated for up to 18,000lbs trailer capacity and 4,500lbs of maximum tongue weight. This hitch will fit most pin boxes that are 12" - 14" wide but you may need a separate locking plate if you have a specialty pin box on your trailer. Here are a list of the additional locking plates for different pin boxes.
