Question:

Ok I have a Suburban 12 Gallon Water Heater DSI and 110V, model SW12DEL. Want to pull it ans put a tankless heater in. Question is quick brand? Furrio or Fogatti. And which particular model?

The best tankless replacement for your Suburban 12 Gallon Water Heater is the Furrion RV Tankless Water Heater - Gas - Automatic Pilot - 60,000 BTU - 18" x 18" Door Item # FR68SR. It has similar dimensions at 12-5/8L x 12-13/16W x 19-3/16D so you'll need to make slight alterations to your cutout hole to fill in the gap but the performance output of this unit will be worth the work. The on-demand hot water and ability to set the temperature to a specific degree instead of the old fashioned arrow knob will make camping much more enjoyable. Furrion's option is much more user friendly and and in my experience has the fewest amount of issues compared to the Fogatti # LSB64FR. The Furrion unit has has almost twice the BTU rating of the Fogatti.

The # FR68SR has the following requirements to properly operate:

12VDC Power Input.

7.2-65PSI water Pressure (40-50PSI recommended). I recommend using a water pressure regulator like # CAM40064 to ensure proper water pressure.

11" WC - 14" WC (13" WC recommended). I recommend having a licensed technician check your pressure and adjust your regulator accordingly to ensure proper gas pressure.
