Although the Rechargeable Mosquito Zapper and Lantern - 180 Lumens - 500V # AT84VR can be used anytime it will not be very effective during daytime hours. It relies on UV light to attract mosquitos, so it will be overpowered by the sun itself.
The less light you have around you the better it will be for it to work.
For daytime insect control I recommend Coghlan's Citronella Candle # CG87ZR. It burns about 16-18 hours and gives off a citronella sent that repels insects.
