Rough pavement and heavy loads can beat up a suspension fast. This 5-leaf slipper spring flexes to resist those shocks, keeping your trailer steady and the ride smooth. Each spring supports 5,000 lbs for a total axle capacity of 10,000 lbs, so it’s built to handle serious weight without harsh bouncing. The multiple-leaf design spreads the load evenly and reduces wear and tear on the rest of the trailer.
When you’re hauling thousands of pounds, you need parts that don’t flex the wrong way. This spring is made from sturdy steel with a 2-1/2" width that gives it a strong footing in the suspension. It stays stable under load and helps keep your axle properly aligned mile after mile. The steel construction holds up to long-term use and keeps the trailer level even on uneven ground.
A tight connection keeps your suspension working right. The front eye of this spring measures 3/4" in diameter and takes a suspension bolt through the hanger on the frame. The radius-end slipper tail slides smoothly into the rear hanger or equalizer, letting the suspension move freely without binding. If a bushing is added, the inner eye diameter becomes 9/16", giving flexibility for different hardware setups.
Proper alignment is key to a suspension that tracks straight. This spring measures 30-1/2" from the center of the eye to the end of the slipper, with dimensions of 13-1/2" (A), 28" (B), 30-1/2" (C), 14" (D), 18" (E), and 4" (F) as listed for part number UNA-298. It mounts to hangers (sold separately) and should always be replaced in pairs to keep axle alignment and ride height consistent. That way both sides flex evenly and the trailer stays balanced every time you tow.

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we'll take a look at the etrailer five-leaf slipper spring with the radius end for 10,000 pound trailer axles. Now this leaf spring here is gonna act as part of your trailer suspension system. It'll provide the attachment point for your trailer's axle. The multiple leaves on this will allow flexibility to absorb road shock, allows for a nice smooth ride, and it reduces wear and tear on your trailer. It ensures level ride on bumpy and uneven surfaces, and it is a sturdy steel construction.
Now on this end, the spring high end, the whole diameter here is 9/16 of an inch. Now, pre-mounted hangers or aftermarket hanger kits, which we do sell separately, are required for installation. Basically the eye right here of the spring will attach to a hanger that's mounted on your trailer frame, and then the slipper end right here will slide into a hanger or an equalizer. Now this is for a quantity of one leaf spring. The number of leaves is five, spring capacity is 5,000 pounds.
So when this is used or thrown on the other side, of the axle, it'll meet the 10,000 pound axle capacity. Couple measurements to give you, the length, which will be measured from the center of the spring right here to the end of the spring, if we go center to the end, it's gonna be right at 30 and a half inches for the length, the spring width, two and a half inches. Now on the product page of this, we do offer many other dimensions if you need those. Now one note I do wanna mention is that to ensure proper axle alignment and suspension performance, these springs should always be replaced in pairs. And we do recommend installation by a professional.
