Question:

Hi all, I have a 2002 Volkswagon Golf that I will be flat towing behind my RV. I have purchased the needed baseplates [Roadmaster EZ Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms - 521227-3] and am looking at the towbar part itself. I am not sure if I am going to have to buy a quick disconnect bar [Replacement Quick Disconnect Crossbar Assembly for Roadmaster Motorhome Mounted Tow Bars - 910021-00] in order to connect the two. Based on what it says in the item description it doesnt look like it... but I dont want to order the part and then the day comes to move and I am missing a piece :-D Thanks In Advance!

For your Roadmaster EZ Base Plate Kit # 521227-3 you will not need the Replacement Quick Disconnect Crossbar Assembly for Roadmaster Motorhome Mounted Tow Bars # 910021-00 to use the Roadmaster Falcon 2 Tow Bar # RM-520.

Your base plate will utilize the quick disconnects to connect the tow bar to the baseplate.
