Question:
My trailer tilted a lot when it slid off the road. I cant pull it the release bar out Is there a way to pull the bar out and replace it? I have a Curt 24 K hitch. The same thing happened two years ago and the whole hitch top was replaced then.

Yes, the there is a replacement handle for a Curt Q24/Q25 5th Wheel Hitch and for this you'll need the Replacement Operating Handle for Curt Q-Series 5th Wheel Hitches part # C55UR. You will have to remove the pin/clip that holds the handle in the outer sleeve and then you can slide the old one out and the new one in. If the handle won't come out then you may have bent the outer sleeve and in which case you'd be looking at a new center section, the Replacement Head Unit for Curt Q25 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch part # C16565.

Is there a replacement handle for the Q24 series that doesn't angle up? I need one that is horizontal or angles down so it won't interfere with my electrically actuated bed cover. Only need about a 1.5" and if the handle can be rotated down, it would fit just fine. Any thoughts?
