I have actually had a JackRabbit on my 2016 Silverado, though not a stepside, for a few years now and absolutely love it. These are very sturdy and completely secured when the tailgate is locked. I really like how it retracts into the canister as well so the back window isn't blocked like the hard folding covers tend to do.
