Getting to your gear shouldn’t mean taking off the whole cover. The JackRabbit retracts into a canister at the front of the bed, giving you full access in seconds. A quick turn of the lock knob activates a continuous tension spring so the cover slides open smoothly and evenly. When you need to close it, the built-in pull strap lets you draw it back over the bed, and it can stop at 12-inch intervals for partial coverage. The low-profile design keeps your rear window clear and doesn’t eat up bed space, even when retracted.

Rain, dust, or snow—your gear stays protected. The deck is built from vinyl bonded to rigid aluminum slats, combining the seamless look of a soft cover with the strength of a hard one. Foam seals under the rails and canister, plus a large rear seal at the tailgate, help keep water out. The weather-resistant ArmorTek surface holds up to sun and road grime without cracking or peeling, so it looks good and works hard season after season.

When closed and used with a locked tailgate, the JackRabbit keeps your bed secure. The heavy-gauge aluminum panels resist cutting or prying better than soft or folding covers. You can lock the cover at any point along the rails using the key latch—perfect for protecting tools or gear while hauling taller items like coolers or boxes near the cab. Two keys are included for convenience.
This cover sits level with the bed rails for a flush, aerodynamic profile that reduces wind drag and helps improve gas mileage. The black vinyl-coated finish blends cleanly with your truck’s lines instead of sitting bulky on top. With its canister measuring just 9-1/4" tall by 9-3/4" deep, it stays compact and out of sight while still shielding the retracted panels from dirt and debris.

You don’t need to drill holes or run power tools to get this cover mounted. The frame rails clamp inside your bed rails with two clamps per side, while shims ensure a proper fit on tapered beds. Drain tubes route through existing holes in the bed floor to keep water moving out. Once installed, you’re ready for secure storage without giving up full use of your truck bed.

Had an issue with cover ping out but called costumer support and they were great. He reminded me to check the fasteners and he was spot on. Tighten up and cured my issues. Would buy it again. Love the look and operation.

Bed cover is still working great after a year. Only downside is the amount of space that it takes up in the bed.

Good choice with the JackRabbit, Howard! I've had one on my Silverado since 2018 and it's still holding up quite well. One piece of advice though, don't shove something like a bookcase into it when it isn't opened up all the way. I sorta kinda maybe did that and have to finesse it to get it completely open now. It still works though. : P I have heard they can be a bit of a pain to install, but I had our installers handle that. So I guess I cheated a little. What are you keeping in your bed?

Still looks and works great. The rubber seal at the rear is easy to knock out of the track, Ive done it three or four times now, and it is a little bit of a pain to get it back in the track. I may RTV it in place. The truck rarely sees rain, Ive road tripped it to Colorado twice, Texas once, and Phoenix once with this tonneau on. Everything in the bed stayed dry and clean. I caught snow twice on those road trips, once in Steamboat and once in Flagstaff. Usually if the truck is not on the road it lives in the garage, but it did spend two months outside this winter when I had two dailies breakdown, washed it and Armoralled it and it looks good as new again.

Still good, but tough to keep it sliding smoothly, it leaks a lot fore and aft, has a tendency to be hard to unlock binds on the passenger side, but still gets out of the way for the fifth wheel, covers front part of bed while towing, and still looks great. I am not aware of a better product that will do what I need and fix the issues I have with this one.

Great, this is my second Tonneau cover from etrailer. The first cover was sold on a 2021 Ram and my Second tonneau cover is on a 2024 Chevy Silverado 3500 that currently up for sale. Both covers worked flawlessly.

its been a year. I like the cover but it does have some issues with the latch not connecting correctly. I would rate the cover a 7.5 out of 10. Mostly keeps items dry unless it is a hard rain.

After a year of service the tonneau is still working like new. No mechanical issues and I do clean it and apply 303 every month. Im very pleased with it.
