Can You Upgrade Old MaxxAir Fan For Remote Capabilities

Question:

I had ordered a fan switch for my MaxxAir vent part # ma00A03550K . I was told this part will not be in until March . It it possible to convert my vent by installing a Circuit board and remove to up date my fan .

If your original MaxxAir fan did not come with a remote like # MA00A01150K then you will need to upgrade your old unit with something like the MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan, Thermostat, and Remote # MA00-07500K.

The Replacement Handheld Remote for Maxxair Roof Vents # MA00A01150K is only compatible with fans that have an intake and exhaust functions.

This being said, you cannot replace a circuit board/modify a fan that is not compatible with a remote to make it compatible with a remote.
