Your old AC gave up in the heat. You could fix it, again, or replace it for good. This kit makes it easy: the components are matched and you get the steady, cool comfort that made you fall in love with your rig in the first place.
One of the biggest headaches in RV repairs is figuring out which parts are compatible. This kit takes all that off your plate. The rooftop unit and air distribution box are made to work together, so installation is smoother and nothing catches you off guard. Whether you're doing the install yourself or paying someone else to do it, having everything designed as a set makes the job faster, cleaner, and less stressful.
If you've ever had an AC that ran all day and still left the rig feeling muggy, this one's a different story. It's made for RVs without ducted air, so it's perfect if you're replacing an old setup or adding a second unit to cool a separate space. And with 15,000 Btu of cooling power, you'll feel the temperature shift within minutes, not hours. Inside the unit, large coils and airflow-boosting fins help pull heat out efficiently, so your RV stays cooler with less strain on the system. You walk in, and the air feels dry, cool, and breathable - like a good night's sleep is actually possible again.
The air distribution box gives you full control right at ceiling level, with simple knobs you can reach without digging for remotes or climbing over furniture. You can direct airflow where you need it with adjustable dampers, and the low-profile, Euro styling helps cover old ceiling imprints from earlier setups. When the filters need cleaning, the pop-out grilles make it easy. No tools required. Just pull, rinse, and snap it back into place.
Sometimes, it's not cold enough to run the furnace, but it's too chilly to be comfortable. This system is prepped for a 5,600 Btu heat strip (sold separately), which is a simple way to take the edge off on those in-between mornings. It's easy to install and helps your space warm up without the noise or power draw of a full furnace cycle.

Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at this Coleman Mach Signature Mach 15-15,000 BTU ductless RV air conditioner system with this textured black cover. Now, one of the biggest headaches in RV repairs is figuring out which parts go together. And this kit is going to take all that off of your plate. This rooftop unit comes with an air distribution box, as you can see here.
And so the unit and the air distribution box, they are designed to work together. So the installation's gonna be a whole lot smoother and nothing's gonna catch you off guard. So whether you're doing the install yourself or you're paying for someone else to do it, having everything designed to work together is going to make your job a whole lot faster, cleaner and a whole lot less stressful. Now this air conditioner is made for RVs without ducted air. So this is going to be perfect if you're replacing an old setup or you're adding a second unit to cool a separate space.
And with 15,000 BTUs of cooling power, you're gonna feel the temperature shift within minutes, not hours. Inside the unit are large coils and airflow boosting fins that's gonna help you pull the heat out efficiently. So your RV's gonna stay cooler with less strain on the system. You're gonna walk in and the air is going to feel great. Let's give you some measurements of the unit itself.
The overall length from end to end is about 39 inches long. The overall width, it's gonna be right at about 26 inches wide. And this is considered a mid profile air conditioner. So this is about 13 and a half inches tall. This is gonna work with a standard size opening on your roof of 14 1/4 inch by 14 1/4 inch.
The unit weighs about 80 pounds. And I just wanted to mention this cover, it's like I mentioned a black textured cover. And I think it's gonna be pretty durable. A lot of the air conditioners that I've got experience with, are more hard, more rigid. This isn't the case. There's a little bit of flex to it. So I don't think it's going to like crack or fracture real easily compared to some other covers that I have seen in the past. Now this air distribution box is going to give you full control right at the ceiling level with the simple knobs. You're gonna have your fan speed and your temperature setting there. So very easy to control this. And you're gonna be able to direct the airflow where you want it with the front and back vents, and then you're gonna be able to adjust that airflow with these switches or knobs on either end there. So it's gonna be very easy to control. And then we do have these removable air filters here, so you can just wash those filters out when they get dirty, let 'em dry, replace 'em, and then you'll be good to go. You're going to get the hardware here to get everything installed with the frame here and then the bolts. So everything that you need to get this unit installed. And the measurements of our air distribution box, looking at the overall length, about 21 3/4 inches long. The overall width about 20 3/4 inches wide. And this is going to stick down from your ceiling about 2, 2 1/2 inches or so. So it shouldn't take up a whole lot of head space in your camper or RV. Now I do wanna make you aware of the fact that this is not, this system is not going to be backwards compatible with any air conditioning system or any air conditioning components from 2024 and earlier due to the new R32 refrigerant that meets the 2025 EPA regulation. So this does use the new R32 refrigerant. So with this kit, what's nice about this kit is the air distribution box and everything here, it's all designed to work with that R32 refrigerant. So do you have any other components currently in your RV or camper that's from 2024 and earlier that's not compliant with the R32 refrigerant, this will not be backwards compatible with those items, just so you're aware of that. One other thing I wanted to mention is, the heat strip is available with this system. And that heat strip is not a furnace replacement. It's just to take the edge out of the air. If you wake up one morning and it's just a a little bit chilly. So if you're interested in adding the heat strip to this unit on your screen, I am including our item number for that item and you can add that to your order and it's gonna be a pretty simple install. But if you happen to have any other additional questions, don't hesitate to reach back out to us. We do wanna make sure that you're getting exactly what you want and need. Well, that's gonna wrap up our quick look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thanks for joining me.
E-trailer is the place to buy delivery purchasing everything all good the Coleman air conditioning rooftop no problems simple to install and works great
The units were in great shape as they were delivered. when I was putting in my order the screen said Sunday delivery, when I submitted the order it changed to Monday, when I tracked the order it said Tuesday. It was Tuesday that it was delivered. that is the only negative thing about my order. everything else is as ordered. I did not realize I ordered the units with the control knobs but that was my mistake. I really needed the ones with the thermostat controls. If there is a kit to switch it from the knobs to the thermostat I would love to know what it is.
