What Do You Recommend to Close the Gap between the Tailgate and the Truck Bed of my 2021 Ford Ranger

Question:
Is there something to close the gap between box and tail gate. I hall small loads of small rocks and hate it when rocks get in as it marks that area most.

If you are looking for protection from rocks between your bed liner and where the tailgate begins, there needs to be a balance between functionality and protection. The reason why something like a bed cover like the Access Custom Truck Bed Mat - Snap-In Bed Floor Cover # A67SJ is because the cover does not extend over to the tailgate; it simply ends at the rear of your bed without covering the gap. Also, any bed floor cover that covers the gap will impact the functionality of the rear tailgate and will not allow you to engage the locking mechanism.
With that being said, your best bet is the TrailSeal Tailgate Gasket- A Tight Tailgate Seal # 834532001583. With the TrailSeal, you will decrease the gap between the rear tailgate and the bed without losing any functionality of the tailgate. I went ahead and showed an installation video that shows the installation process as well as what the gap will look like after installation. Since this is a universal kit, you will have enough stripping to fit your 2021 Ford Ranger.
