This replacement foot base works with Thule Tracker roof-rack fit kits for vehicles with factory-installed, fixed mounting points. The base mounts to a track (included in the original fit kit) and provides a mounting point for the roof-rack foot.

Item was tough to source. Glad it was available through trailer.
Part is great but design “appears” to have a guard on one side. Had to reverse units for best engagement. A simple guide sheet for set up would help.
Thank u etrailer for fixing my stupidity. I drove into my garage and forgot i had my roof rack on. I broke the base and thought i was going to have to buy a new rack. Thankfully you guys had the part. Thanks for good pricing, customer service and speedy shipping.
Exactly what I ordered. This product was discontinued by Thule and it was hard to find, but "etrailer.com" came to the rescue. If you want to purchase roof rack parts at a very low price, then this is the place.

Great!!!!
I recently ripped one of my Thule roof racks off my truck cap. It caught a basketball hoop and the foot base broke. The replacement part that I purchased from you fit perfectly.

Purchased the Thule Footbase(s) to connect my Hullivators to my truck, in order to be about to transport our Kayaks. The parts work great; Etrailer is a great source for hard to find Thule parts.

The Thule Footbases provide a strong, secure lockable, & easy on-off method of connecting the Thule square load bars and allow kayak or bike carry attachments. Without the attachments, I also transport lumber and a ladder. Thanks etrailer!
The Thule company no longer stocked the replacement foot base I needed for my car rack. They referred me to several other sources, including etrailer. The part you sent me was exactly what I needed and it arrived promptly. The price of the item and the shipping were very reasonable, in fact considerably less than I expected.

Worked great
Works with Thule 430 towers to connect to a 2001 4Runner factory-installed rack. Used the runner rail nuts with the factory towers/cross bars and 6 x 20mm SS bolts purchased from local hardware store. Expanded rack size to accommodate large roof storage box and 2 bike racks.
etrailer was very helpful and all their information was spot on.

Working fine.
I have been using basic Thule cross bars on several of my cars since 1990 and currently attaching them to the factory roof racks. But old plastic becomes brittle and I had 2 of the mounting pieces crack. I was disappointed that replacement parts for my rack system are no longer available from Thule. After a quick search on the internet I found Etrailer
and exactly the mounts and hardware I needed to use my racks again.
So my canoe will get to the lake, a Christmas tree will come home, and the new mattress I'll be buying soon will go up on the roof securely.
Glad to have found a source for replacement parts I may need someday.

Still doing the job. Got all the projects I wrote about plusa couple loads of lumber for a deck rebuild! Happy customer!!!!
Excellent quality. They stock this very hard-to-find, discontinued part. Universally Works with TK1, TK6,TK8 etc. Make sure to also order the bolts and nuts for this unit.
I replaced the feet that i ordered with my leer camper shell that i broke when i drove my truck into my garage. Oops!
Worked as published...perfect. Got my old rack up and running again!
Identical to factory product,no issues,bolted on like my original.

This rating is more. For Thule as a company not on e trailer what so ever. But I thought these would work with the bars and foot pack I have but they don’t of course, so I had to return them. But I did find the ones I needed on e trailer and ordered those and they worked great. I just wished Thule made a product that would work with all there bars or foot packs. Wouldn’t that be great

Managed to break this little bracket in an underground parking garage.
The replacement from trailer came as described, and fit perfectly.

Worked perfectly to replace 853-5112 on my old Thule rack on my Leer topper. Fair price and the etrailer folks knew that was the part I needed.
