Question:

Hi there I couldnt help but notice that the experts are suggesting 460r Podium foot pack with square load bars? I believe the correct foot pack to the square load bars is actually the 460 not the 460r which is actually the one used with aeroblade / Aero bars. I hope this helps out :-

The Thule Podium 460 you referenced for old square bars has been discontinued so that is why the expert answers suggest using the Evo Fixpoint Feet # TH49SC for use with the new Thule SquareBar that have a slot in the bottom like the aero style bars. The old Thule square load bars have been discontinued and replaced with the SquareBar like # TH712400.

This bar is not designed for the older wrap around style mount but will use the channel mount like the aero bars were already using. Thule is moving away from the Podium style foot pack as well and replacing them with the Evo Clamp Feet for Thule Crossbars - Naked Roofs - Qty 4 # TH710501, but there are still some fits that use the Rapid Podium feet.

This is new for late 2018 to present. Thule is making kits for older vehicles to have custom fits with this new product line. Let me know if you have further questions.
