Question:

I want to put a hitch on my 2021 Tesla Model 3 but don't want something "ugly" for lack of a better word. The Tesla just is not made for a tow hitch, it has such clean lines, but there are times when I need one. Mostly I need it for carrying my e-bike.

We have exactly what you are looking for, two options, each from Stealth Hitch. The first option is the Stealth Hitches Hidden Rack Receiver, # 391TES317. This fits a 2" hitch and is a completely hidden hitch that keeps your Tesla Model 3 looking just like it was when built, no "ugly" hitch sticking out the back. You can easily remove the receiver portion of the hitch separating it from the concealed crosstube that remains hidden. This will provide you with a 2" x 2" receiver opening for hitch-mounted accessories. Just keep in mind that the receiver tube included with this hitch cannot be used for towing. That is where the second option comes in, it too is from Stealth Hitch but is rated for towing in addition to hitch-mounted accessories.

The Stealth Hitches Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver w/ Towing Kit, # 391TES317T is the option you should select if you want abilty to occasionally tow. This too provides a 2" x 2" receiver opening same as the first option and, it has the same hidden crosstube appearance when not being used. The only real difference is the design changes needed for supporting towing weight as opposed to only a downward force applied from accessories such as bike racks, cargo carriers. This is rated for a maximum gross trailer weight of 3,500 lbs. and a max tongue weight of 350 lbs. The needed 2" ball and wiring is included with this option.
