Expert Reply:
The maximum amount of drop for the 6-hole shank is 1-1/2 inches for the Blue Ox system you asked about:
- Blue Ox 2-Point Weight Distribution with Sway Control # BLU75FR
This system fits 2 inch receivers and is designed for total tongue weights between 800 lbs and 1,2000 lbs. If you need more drop you can get up to 4-1/2 inches by adding a different shank, the Blue Ox SwayPro Weight Distribution Shank # BXW4003.
