I read online that certain kingpin hitches need a capture plate for the Demco 18k Auto slide. I am considering putting in a Ford OEM 5th wheel prep package under bed and then getting the Demco 18k puck system . I have a Trailair Tri-Glide part number 229669. Is this one that needs a capture plate and if so which plate do I need and where is a good place to get one. Perferrably in Canada. Thanks. Al

What I think you are asking for is the Demco Hijacker Autoslide Locking Plate for Trailair Tri-Glide Pin Boxes, # DM6095. If you bolt this locking plate to the Trailair Tri-Glide pin box it prevents the king pin from being able to pivot in the Demco Hijacker Autoslide 5th Wheel Hitch w/ Slider, # DM8550024. This is a simple bolt-on installation and the needed hardware is included.
