The best autoslide 5th wheel hitch for your 2022 Short bed Ford F-250 with OEM puck system is the Demco Hijacker AutoSlide, # DM8550038.
The Hijacker is one of the most convenient fifth wheel hitch options on the market because you don't have to get out of your truck to adjust the slider when you make turns which can become inconvenient especially in city traffic or bad weather. It also features a 360 degree contact with the king pin to prevent the rattling and chucking you may experience with other fifth wheel brands.
I also recommend to get the Demco 5th Wheel Lifting Bracket, # DM6100 to make it easier to lift the hitch out of the bed of the Ford with a cable.
