Question:

I have a 2020 Audi Q7 and want to install a trailer hitch but do not want to do any cutting on my trim. Is there a hitch that will fit my car and not require me to cut into it or any part of it that may be seen?

I have a solution for your 2020 Audi Q7 but you are going to have to do some cutting of a lower trim fascia. I recommend the etrailer 2" Trailer Hitch Receiver item # e88KR. This hitch receiver is custom fit to your vehicle and requires no welding or drilling into your frame. I have linked the installation instructions to show you the 7.25 inch by 3.5 inch section that will have to be cut out of the lower panel below your rear bumper trim.

For your trailer light control, I recommend the ZCI Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness w/ 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector and Installation Kit # 119250KIT. This wiring harness connects behind your vehicles rear tail lights and allows you to control the lighting functions on your trailer.

I also recommend the Curt Towing Starter Kit for 2" Hitches - 2" Ball - 3/4" Rise, 2" Drop - 7.5K item # C45534. This kit will provide you the ball mount and ball you need for towing and a hitch lock to prevent theft.
