Which SumoSprings for 2001 Toyota Tundra Towing Travel Trailer

I think the SumoSprings would work well for my 2001 Tundra as I want to pull a 19foot camper trailer. I would like to know which one you would recommend, the 2800 lb capacity or the 1500 lb capacity? Thank you

The best way to choose the correct Sumo Springs for your 2001 Toyota Tundra is based off the tongue weight of the trailer you're going to be pulling and the overall capacities on your vehicle. The payload capacity on a 2001 Tundra is a maximum of 1900-lbs depending on the configuration of the vehicle, so I think the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs - Rear Axle # SSR-610-54 that are rated for 2800-lbs are a bit overkill for towing a smaller travel trailer.
I recommend using the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs - Rear Axle # SSR-610-47 which are rated to provide up to 1500-lbs of support to prevent sag while towing. The SumoSprings are a nice solution that are designed to replace your factory bump stops and because they get stiffer as weight is added they won't impact your unloaded ride quality. Considering what you'll be towing and the capacities on your 2001 Tundra, I think these will do a great job for you.
