i am looking for a couple of tires and wheels 5.70-8 tire and the wheels measure 4-1/4inch center to center and are 5 Lug.

I have some great wheel and 5.70-8 tire options for you to choose from. It's very likely you have 5 on 4-1/2" pattern which measures 4-1/2" from bolt center to bolt center. There is no bolt pattern for a wheel this size which measures 4-1/4" and 5 on 4-1/2" is most common therefore very likely what you have. It's hard to measure the exact center of a hole. I recommend the Kenda 5.70-8 Bias Trailer Tire with 8" White Wheel part # AM30140.
