Question:

Hello, I am interested in buying this trailer hitch for a 2021 or 2022 Palisade. Can you provide details on how to connect the reverse wire for the 7-pin trailer connector. I am guessing that I just have to connect to the reverse light bulbs. This is the reason I have not made the purchase yet though. Can you provide some specifics on how to connect into the reverse circuit or if there is a better way to do it.

To connect the reverse wire of the Stealth Hitches Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver w/ Towing Kit # 391HYUNPALIS19T harness, the purple wire that is labeled for the reverse light circuit will need to be connected to a wire on the vehicle side connector that you plug the harness into. It looks like the wire should be yellow with a black tracer but you will want to verify that you have the correct wire with a Test Light # PTW2993 as it can change on vehicles.

Once you have verified that you have the correct wire you can splice into it with a Quick Splice # SWC502905-1.
