Can I Use the Yakima HandRoll with My 2013 Audi Q5's Factory Crossbars?

Can I use Handrolls front and back? I have a 2013 Audi Q5 with fairly wide approx 3 inches factory crossbars. I intend to load and transport a 12 foot Eddyline Skylark kayak by myself. I want to ensure there will be no hull distortion. Thank you.

Yes, you will be able to use a complete set of Yakima HandRolls on your 2013 Audi Q5's 3-inch wide factory crossbars. We do sell the complete system that comes with 4 HandRolls. For that system, you need the Yakima HandRoll Kayak Carrier with Tie-Downs - Roller Style # Y04082-2. The padded, pivoting cradles conform to the shape of your hull so you do not have to worry about any scratching or damage to the kayak. If you want extra security, I recommend the Same-Key Lock Cores # Y07202.

The Hullavator is only rated to carry kayaks up to 75 lbs. The Inno Kayak Lifter #INA453 on the other hand, is rated for 90 lbs!
