What is the Speed Rating of the Kenda 205/65-10 Load Range D Tire

Question:

Can you please verify the speed ratings on the Kenda 205/65-10 Load Range C, D, and E? I am confused why the speed rating for the Load Range D would be less than the Load Range C and E. In reviewing answers to questions I see Load Range C is 81 MPH, Load Range D is 65 MPH and Load Range E is 87 MPH. I previously asked a question about appropriate tires for my 1993 Coleman Arcadia pop up. I am trying to decide between Load Range C and D tires. I will need replacement tires and wheels. Thank you!

I reached out to my contact over at Kenda for clarification on this and they mentioned that all of the Kenda 205/65-10 tires (LR C, LR D and LR E) have a speed rating of 81-mph unless otherwise noted on the tires. The Kenda 205/65-10 Tires- Load Range D # AM1HP54 would likely be the best solution for you because of the added capacity of the tires and the 81-mph rating; this tire is available with a 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern wheel using part # AM3H430.
