Quick Release Hinge For Lippert Manual Fold Down Steps

Question:

The Moryde step has a quick hinge release to be used when there is insufficient lateral space to deploy the steps... like when in tightly spaced storage. Does the Lippert step unit have a similar quick release capability?

I spoke with Lippert and they confirmed that SolidStep Manual Fold-Down Steps for 29" to 36" Wide RV Door Frames # LC791575 does not have a quick hinge function, just manual fold down and raise up.

We do offer the Torklift GlowStep Revolution # TLA9005 that is a scissor style design made to fit and be used in small or tight paces. This product also extends to reveal a 5th step for use and fits doorways 28" wide.

We do carry the detachable quick hinge kit for Morryde first generation steps if you are in need of a replacement # MR92AR.
