Very well made part. Easy to retrofit my Step Above gen 1 steps to this hinge. Very fast delivery and impressive customer communication.
The hinge is a huge upgrade from the original but......MORryde needs to adjust the angle of the attachment to steps themselves. I had to place shims under the door stops to get the correct angle for the door to correctly close/seal. I attempted to adjust the hinge location to make this adjustment but affected lower fitment. Customer service was excellent as they sent the wrong assembly the first time.

Different dimensions than the original plate. Sits about 3/4 to 1 inch higher than the original plate.
Just what I needed for my 2018 XLR boost 20CB. The gen 1 steps were in the way of my rzr so I installed this base so I could close the door with the steps removed to fit the rzr. The only thing to be cautious of is this piece does not come with instructions. I found the instructions on morryde website and it says to install the mount point 15/16” from the floor trim piece. That did not work for my particular XLR. Doing it that way made it so the doors couldn’t close. I had to reposition it to 2” away from the floor trim piece. Other than that exactly what I wanted.
I wish I could have ordered the step with the Removable Mounting Plate originally!! It was rather hard to install the mount bolts!!
Nicely built and heavy assembly. Eliminates one of the major disadvantages of swing out steps.
It was easy to replace old hinge with new. Just drill out old rivets and use supplied hardware to put on new.
Product was exactly what was online and it was easy to install.

The removable step is great. I store the trailer in a tight space and can not fully open the door. Removing the step before storing grants me access to inside. Was easy to install.
