Can Torklift Revolution Uprising TLA9005 Fit 2019 Forest River Flagstaff Classic Super Lite 8321KBS

Question:

We just bought a 2019 Forest River Flagstaff Classic Super Lite 8321KBS. This is the same trailer as our former 2016 Rockwood Signature Ultra Lite 8329SS, for which I purchased from eTrailer and installed the Torklift Glowsteps Revolution steps on that trailer, but since this 2019 trailer came from the factory with the SolidSteps, this one has no step well to install the Glowstep Revolution steps, so we are going to have to go with the Revolution Uprising steps that fold up into the doorway. We cannot fold down the SolidSteps to gain access to the trailer inside our RV garage the reason we put the Glowsteps on the 2016 trailer Before ordering, I was wondering if Shane or anyone familiar with the Torklift Glowsteps Revolution Uprising steps can answer a couple of questions for me. In eTrailers instructions on the TLA9005 page, I found that the TLA9005 28-inch-wide steps are what I need for our threshold height above the ground 36 and 13/16ths inches. I have 5/8ths-inch of clearance between the outside threshold and the bottom of the door that closes over it, which is within the limits of the instructions. But it also says that the threshold height should be between 5/8ths and 3/4 of an inch in height. Our threshold is only 1/2inch in height above the inside floor. Will I need to put a 1/8-inch spacer of some type on top of the threshold to bring its height up to 5/8ths-inch for the Uprising steps to work correctly? Also, I would like you to be aware of the fact that our threshold angles downward toward the outside of the doorway. It is 1/2-inch lower on the outside edge than it is on its inside edge. I have included photos to try to help you visualize my concerns before purchasing the Uprising steps. This is a big investment, and Im hoping that everything fits and I do not have to be concerned about sending the steps back! Thank you!

In order for the bracket of the TorkLift GlowStep Revolution Uprising Steps # TLA9005 that you referenced to fit the door sill the height does need to be between 5/8 inch and 3/4 inch to allow the door to still close over it. So if you can use a spacer like you mentioned to raise your height to fit that range then this will fit well in this regard as well as as the threshold height dimension you mentioned.

Since you are so close I would imagine it wouldn't take much if anything to get this to fit your setup.
