Hi everyone. Steve here with etrailer.com. Thanks for looking with me today at this removable mounting plate for the 2nd gen MORryde StepAbove RV steps, specifically 23 1/2 inch wide steps. Now, this replaces that quick-release hinge plate on your 2nd generation MORryde StepAbove RV steps. Those obviously are sold separately. This, again, is just the replacement mounting plate.
Now, it's designed to work with 23 1/2 inch wide step treads. The installation does require you to drill into your camper floor, so keep that in mind. You are gonna use existing hardware that you already have, and it uses nylon locking nuts to attach the step frame. Now, the nylon lock nuts are included. They're on the back here inside the two tube channels here and here.
And as far as the truck plate itself, everything here has that grip tape on it, so it's nice and safe for you to walk in. As you probably already know, you simply remove the pin here, and that's how you're gonna remove this whole bracket. These would stay attached to the top plate there that you're installing on, and then you can remove the whole steps with the simple as pulling that pin. So very simple design. This again is the removable mounting plate for the 2nd gen MORryde StepAbove RV steps 23 1/2 inch wide steps.
