These fold-down steps form a solid bridge from ground to doorway. The adjustable legs create a firm connection with the ground, so there’s no flex or wobble when you step up. It may be possible to move up to the Solidstep 4 Step part # LC791575. There are a few measurements that you will want to take. Besides measuring the the width between the door flanges and measuring from the top of the threshold plate to the bottom of the door, you will want to measure from the mounting point to the ground. The entry height should roughly match the height of the steps when theyre fully extended, and it will tell you how many steps you need. I would check to make sure you will have the room before investing in the 4 step option.
