You will need to make sure that the weight distribution system that you are looking at is compatible with surge brakes and attaches to the trailer frame with over the frame style brackets. A system like the Blue Ox SwayPro Weight Distribution w/ Sway Control # BXW0550 has these brackets and is compatible with a surge brake coupler.
If you are looking at a weight distribution like the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System # EQ37060ET it requires a different Pole-Tongue Adapter # EQ95-01-5950.
