The Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver # DT34GR you were looking at for your 2022 Kia Carnival measures 5" from the top of the mounting flange to the top of the receiver tube as you can see in the included diagram along with some other useful measurements. This hitch was designed specifically for your Carnival.

If you are planning on towing a trailer with your vehicle you will also need a vehicle wiring harness # CU94FR, and a ball mount, hitch ball, and hitch pin and clip which can all be found in the etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989900.
