Question:

I have a 25 kia carnival hybrid. I wanted to know if the Curt hitch is the same as the kia carnival? Also van came prewire for a trailer can you help me understand this to? Thank you

Hey Shane, thanks for reaching out!

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C67ER will work great on your 2025 Kia Carnival. I'm not sure what brand that Kia uses as their OEM hitch, but this is a custom fit so it installs without any drilling.

If you have the factory tow package then all you need wiring-wise is the Tekonsha T-One # 118784 and the wiring brackets # C83DR and # 18144 and you'll be set! The only other thing that could be meant by prewired is if there is already a 4-Way existing at the back of your vehicle. In that case, you can just look at the back near the bumper to see if a 4-Way is already sitting there.
