I have a Bakflip Mx4 installed on my 2020 Sierra 1500. Will this Thule xsporter pro shift be able to attach to the rails?

I have a solution for you. When considering a ladder rack for your 2020 GMC Sierra 1500, it is important to determine if your truck's stake pockets are open and accessible. If you have a BAKFlip MX4 installed on your vehicle, the stake pockets on your truck are available to accommodate a ladder rack. However, since the Thule Xsporter Pro Shift # TH54RR clamps onto your truck's bed rails, it will interfere with the BAKFlip MX4.
For a great alternative that is compatible with your tonneau cover, I recommend the Adarac Pro Series Truck Bed Ladder Rack # A4002965 (5-3/4 ft. bed), # A4003497 (6-1/2 ft. bed), or # A4003886 (8-ft. bed). The Adarac ladder rack comes with a 500 pound weight capacity and comes with all hardware included for an easy installation into your truck's stake pockets. In addition, you have the option to purchase Load Stops # A4000880 to keep your cargo from shifting during transport as well as a tie-down kit # A4000882 to create mounting points for securing straps. If you need securing straps, I recommend the SmartStraps Cam Buckle Tie-Down Straps w/ S-Hooks # 348136.
