What Tonneau Cover Works with the Thule Xsporter Pro Shift for a 2021 RAM 1500 5-1/2 Ft Bed?

Question:

Im trying to determine which tonneau covers, if any, will work with the Thule Xsporter Pro Shift fixed height, mounts to its own rails. Im particularly interested in the BakFlip G2 covers. If it matters, I have a 2021 Ram 1500, new body style, short bed without ram box. Thanks!

I have a solution for you. Unfortunately, the Thule Xsporter Pro Shift Overland Truck Bed Rack - Aluminum - 600 lbs # TH54RR clamps onto the bed rails of your 2021 RAM 1500 (5-1/2 Ft. Bed without Rambox). With this type of installation style, it is not compatible with any tonneau cover since tonneaus use the bed rail to install.

I recommend the If you are looking for a compatible ladder rack for the BAKFlip G2 Hard Tonneau Cover - Folding - Aluminum # BAK226227 (without Ram Box), I recommend the Adarac Pro Series # A4000965. Since the uprights of this rack stand straight up, there will be no rubbing/interference with the base rails when opening and closing the covers. Also, the Pro series can be used simultaneously with the G2. You can also add optional add-ons as the tie-down eye bolts # A4000882 and adjustable load stops # A4000880.

If you need straps for securing cargo on your ladder racks, I recommend the SmartStraps Ratchet Tie-Down Straps w/ S-Hooks - 1" x 10' # 348149. The cam buckles and s-hooks will ensure that your cargo will not fall off the rack during transport.
