Question:

I am purchasing a 2020 F350 with an 8’ bed and am comparing the RetraxPRO XR and the Pace Edwards Full Metal Jackrabbit. It appears the the Jackrabbit is 9.75” from the front of the bed and hangs down 9.25” from the top of the bed rail. Are the dimensions for the RetraxPRO PRO XR available? How far below the bed rails are these covers for clearance on a fifth wheel hitch?

The RetraxPRO XR Hard Tonneau Cover w/ Trax Rails - Retractable - Aluminum - Matte # RTT-80384 has a canister that is 13-3/4 inches wide and sits 11-5/8 inches deep from the top of the bed rail. The RetraxPro and the Pace Edwards Jackrabbit # 311-M-JRFA19A45 both have a flush design with the top of your bed rails so the lowest point over your 5th wheel hitch will be about 1-1/2 inches under the bed rail.

This is great information. Thank you. One question that I have: Measured from inside the bed, how far back from the bed wall does the canister project toward the rear of the truck. If that make sense...

@Realtrailerlife We'd be happy to help with that. The canister extends 13-3/4 inches rearward toward the tailgate from the front of the bed and 11-5/8 inches downward from the top of the bed side toward the bed floor. Hope that helps!
