Will the MT70142 work with a 4 Hole, 4” on center holes, 16x6.5-8 tire?

The CE Smith Offset Spare Trailer Tire Carrier # CE27310G has a measurement of 4-1/2" from the outer wheel mounting plate to the trailer plate.

Assuming that your wheel has a 0" offset, your tire is 6-1/2" wide so you will have a 3-1/4" from the inner wheel face to the inside tire sidewall. Therefore you will be able to mount the spare wheel and tire with the 4 on 4" lug pattern on the carrier.
