Question:

I am looking to purchase the Curt C11406 hitch for my Honda Fit 2015. I am looking to carry 2 bikes, but I am also looking for one that has great security. I am wondering what are my options that has locking hitch and bike locks.

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C11406 is a great option for your 2015 Honda Fit. It uses a class I receiver which is capable of supporting up to 200lbs of tongue weight. This receiver measured in with 3-1/2" from the center of the receiver hitch hole to the rear of bumper and 10" from the ground to the inside top of the receiver.

I recommend the Thule Apex XT 2 Bike Rack # TH9024XT as it has built in locks for both your bikes and the hitch that slides into the receiver. The locks are also keyed alike so that you do not have to carry multiple keys with you for this bike rack. It has a length of 7" from the center of the receiver hitch pin hole to the closest part of the rack ensuring you will have plenty of clearance.

You might consider adding the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56395 as your bikes will likely interfere with the view of your taillights. You can add the Auxiliary Lights # C53201 to the back of the rack so that drivers will be able to clearly see the lights for brakes and turning.
