Question:

greetings i currently own a 2009 F350 Super Duty, crew cab, 8k’ bed with the Torklift Super Hitch Magnum and looking to upgrade truck to a 2017 F350 SD, crew cab, 8’ bed. It looks like the 2017 calls for a different model super hitch than the 2009. I was wondering if there was retro fit hardware that might allow the existing hitch to be used on the newer truck ?? Haven’t had the hitch on the 2009 for more than a month and would like to reuse if at all possible. thanks in advance, PS……I haul a truck bed camper, and wondering if the ‘09’s rear tie-downs might be a useable part as well ???

You will need a new TorkLift SuperHitch Magnum Trailer Hitch Receiver # TLF1008-30 for your 2017 Ford F-350. The hitch cross bar is longer on the 2017 than the TorkLift Receiver # TLF1002-30 on your 2009 Ford F-350 so new side brackets will not allow you to use the current cross bar that you have.

You will be able to use the same Rear TorkLift Custom Frame-Mounted Camper Tie-Downs # TLR3504 from your old truck but you will need new Front TorkLift Custom Frame-Mounted Camper Tie-Downs # TLF2021
