When you’ve got a trailer tongue or a bed full of gear pushing the rear end down, the LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate air springs step in with up to 5,000 lbs of load-leveling capacity. They pair with your factory suspension to keep your truck level front to back and side to side. That means steadier steering, safer braking, and headlights that stay aimed where they should. The more weight you add, the stiffer the support becomes for solid control under load.
Each air spring has a closed-cell urethane jounce spring built inside that soaks up bumps and helps prevent bottoming out. These internal jounces engage early to smooth out harsh hits from potholes or rough roads. Even if the air bags lose pressure, the jounces act as a fail-safe to temporarily carry the load until you can adjust pressure again. The result is a steadier ride with less sway or bounce when towing or hauling uneven cargo.
Every load is different, so being able to fine-tune your setup matters. The LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate lets you adjust air pressure between 5 psi and 100 psi using manual inflation valves mounted for easy access. Add air when you’re towing heavy or drop down when unloaded for a softer, more comfortable ride. For hands-free control, a compatible compressor system can be added later to monitor and adjust air automatically from the cab.
Durability starts with materials that can take real work. These 2-ply, fabric-reinforced rubber air bags use high-strength Zytel nylon endcaps that are lighter, stronger, and more corrosion-resistant than steel. Air Lift’s exclusive upper and lower roll plates protect each bag from contact with moving parts and extend service life. With quality construction throughout, these springs deliver dependable performance season after season without leaks or corrosion issues.
The system is built for straightforward installation with included mounting brackets, hardware, air lines, and manual valves. The brackets bolt to existing frame points in place of the factory bump stops—no extra fabrication required. Once mounted, just inflate through the provided valves and fine-tune your pressure for the load at hand. It’s a clean fit that adds serious capability without complicating your truck’s suspension setup.

Over 7K pulling 18K 5th wheel since installing. Both truck & trailer have handled well, especially on the bad section of I-40 between Memphis and east of Nashville. Every truck pulling a trailer needs Air Lift LoadLifters.
