will this fit on a 535d X-Drive? If it doesnt, then why wont it?

We do have a hitch that is a confirmed fit for your 2015 BMW 535d X-Drive with the Stealth part # SH38ZR or Stealth # SH97ZR which happens to also fit the same vehicles as the # C11381 but it's a drastically different design so we can't guarantee it would work. Since BMW has so many different sub-models it's probably a case where Curt just hasn't gotten a chance to test on that specific model like Stealth did.
