Where Should the Tire Minder TM29FR Repeater be Mounted?
Updated 06/15/2021 | Published 06/12/2021 >
Question:
I have a 2006 Toyota Tundra that I pull a 20 ft airstream with. I want to monitor the trucks tires as well as the airstreams. How ever I still want to monitor the trucks tire when not pulling the trailer. Where should I mount the repeater? At the rear of the truck or the in the battery box of the trailer? Will the 4 sensors work on the truck tires with out the repeater?

As the repeater is just boosting the signal from the sensors to the monitor, you should still mount it on the trailer. There should be no issue at all for the sensors to connect to the monitor when mounted in the vehicle.
