Question:
I will be installing this Redarc battery charger on a 2020 Ram 2500 Power Wagon. I believe that the truck probably has a smart alternator but will not see it until next week. Can you confirm? Also, assuming it does, can you tell me which fuse to run the blue wire of the Redarc RK1260 relay kit to? The truck will be towing a travel trailer with dual 12v AGM batteries and want to charge them while towing. Thanks for your help..

If you're installing the RedArc BCDC # 331-BCDC1225D using the 60-Amp Relay Kit for Redarc In-Vehicle BCDC Battery Charger # 331-RK1260 you will connect the relay to the vehicle ignition. I've also linked the wiring diagram for this installation for you to use as a guide.

Not ignition wired atm I have a 1260 relay pkg on order but I do not understand how the blue ignition connection on the trailer installed dc-dc charger will be connected through to the relay that will be installed in my truck?
