The Furrion Chill RV Air Conditioner and Air Distribution Box w/ Built-in Thermostat - 13,500 Btu Item # FR52PR doesn't have a temperature probe or sensor to control the unit. The temperature knob ranges from 61 degrees to 86 degrees.

So it doesn’t have a sensor, but somehow it knows how to keep the temperature even when in cooling mode? Seriously?

@MarkusW Hello Markus, Yes, the Furrion Chill HE Air Distribution Box from # FR52PR doesn’t actually “know” the temperature since it’s a manual system, it just blows air at the setting you choose. You control the cooling level and fan speed with the dials, and the AC will keep running at that setting until you adjust it or turn it off. It's kind of like adjusting the water temperature on your kitchen sink. Please let me know if you have any other questions =)

I purchased Chill Low Profile Rooftop Air Conditioner with Heat Pump. Supposedly it has heating mode. If it put on heat mode it starts running. Can I set the amount of heat? I think it’s stupid to call it a thermostat when it just says “Cooler”. Where do I set if I’m heating? What does the cooler switch actually do? Is it just a fan? The unit won’t switch off if I have on less cool. Seems like I made a big mistake going with manual ADB. It’s in a van, so I thought simple is good, but I can’t find anything that explains the cool button. It also appears I can’t adjust the fan speed, because fan is a mode, not a setting for cooling or heating.
