Question:
will this mirror fit the 2013 Toyota Tundra Double Cab SR5. Mine currently are heated and remote controlled. Are these difficult to install for a semi-handy carpenter? Thank-you.

The K-Source Extendable Driver-Side Towing Mirror, Part # KS70104T, is specified to fit Toyota Tundra models years 2008 thru 2012. However, my contact at K-Source confirmed it will fit the 2013 Tundra SR5 as long as your stock mirror also has turn signals. You indicate your OEM mirrors have heat and power functions only. If they also have built-in turn signals you can use this replacement mirror. Please note that mirror extension and folding functions are both manual, not powered.
The mirror bolts on to the same 3-sided mounting surface as the OEM mirror and secures with three screws. All electrical connections for heat, mirror power and turn signals are made through a single rectangular connector. Please refer to the photo provided. It will be necessary to remove a small trim panel to gain access to the mounting hardware on the inside of the driver-side door. If you want to confirm the fit in advance you can remove the trim panel to verify that the attachment hardware and electrical connector match those shown in the photo.
If you cannot use the K-Source mirrors, you can instead use the slip-on CIPA Drivers Towing Mirror # CM11301. This is also available as a pair, part # CM11300. These slip onto your existing 6 x 9 inch mirrors (but will not fit OEM extendable mirrors). Please compare the mirror shown in the second photo to yours; if you have this 6 x 9 inch mirror on your Tundra then the CIPA slip-on mirrors will fit. The CIPA towing mirrors attach without tools and will not interfere with the views or adjustments of your factory mirrors. Installation instructions are included.
