Custom-Fit Towing Mirror
Easily extend your field of vision and reduce blind spots with this CIPA slip-on towing mirror. By adding it to your OEM side-view mirror, you can see beyond the end of your trailer. This will allow you to safely and easily change lanes, pass, and park with a trailer in tow.
The mirror is molded to perfectly match the contours of your factory side mirror. Simply slide the mirror over your side-view mirror and use the custom-formed, felt-covered wedge to hold the mirror in place. This wedge wraps around the inside edge of your OEM mirror and can be tightened onto the mirror with an easily accessible hand knob.
Slip-on mirror will fit factory mirrors that look like the mirror in the image above.

Peeling the backing from the felt tape was the single most frustrating thing I have done in the last two years. I will definitely not use the same tape if replacement becomes necessary.
Part did fit. Installed 10-06-2013. About 3 minutes. Tape install about 15 minutes. 2013 tundra double cab
Great service and on-time delivery. Ordered the CIPA slide on sideview mirrors for my 2011 Tundra. Fit like a glove and will do the job of seeing around and behind my travel trailer just fine.
Exactly what I was looking for. I didn't want the look with straps is the reason I chose these ones. It is easy on & off when I go thru the car wash. Couldn't ask for anything better.
Just got it in the mail and made sure it fit. Fits like a glove! etrailer.com is a great site. Top notch customer service & shipping!
The mirror fit my 2011 Tundra okay. I say okay because in order to tighten the mirro on so that it will stay, it buldges out of the track inside a little. If I loosen it so that it isn't buldging it is VERY easy to pull the miiror off and I assume it will fall off just as easy. If you over-tighten it it is easy to pull off as well. I did get them on and I drove down the road this morning with no apparent vibration or loosening so it looks like they will work. It is probably the cheapest solution, but I don't think it is the BEST solution. I would rather have the factory mirrors and I will probably save up my money to get them.
These mirrors work great! Easy install and no vibration compared to similar mirrors. I tried others and was about to order factory replacements before giving these a try and I'm glad I waited. Worth every penny and they don't look bad.
Towing mirrorsI just put the towing mirrors on my truck, and took it for a test drive. No virbration. I can see clearly out of both mirrors, and WAY down the road. I like the way the Right side mirror is magnified. Can't wait to go camping to try out the new tow mirrors.
Looks like a nice fit. The wedge needs to be screwed on pretty tight to make sure the mirror stays on. My last extension mirror was fastened with rubber straps that started to crack the first year; by the second year I was afraid to use it. This looks like it will last for many years.
Review update: The order process was simple and the shipping was fast.
Unfortunately, I ordered the wrong mirror by not carefully studying all the info on the product page and was painfully told by customer service, in effect, a picture is worth more than words...
Two simple phrases on both the driver and passenger side versions of this mirror such as "Important - this item will not fit all Toyota Sequoias. Please make sure your mirrors look like the one in the picture" would have led to a better study of the picture they show of the mirror my Seqoia appearently should have.
I will give both the website and customer service another try each with more attention to detail on my part before I make a final decision to continue to do business with them.
Ordering Process and Delivery Time were awsome!
The product description indicated this mirror would fit my 2007 Sequoia, but alas it does not. It is too large (especially top to bottom) to hold on the mirror.
I ordered one other item from eTrailer that was delivered seperately and it was delivered even faster and works perfectly as they described.
Due to my experience with eTrailer to date, I bet the return process will be as straight forward as the order process was and expect to continue to do future business with them.
These mirrors fit perfectly on our truck and did the job of giving us better vision while pulling our camper. No straps or anything in the way like others offer. Just slide on and tighten the screw.
This mirror easily slips on and off your vehicle's permanent mirror.
It does not vibrate and it allows you to see vehicles beside and behind you when properly adjusted. Remember to not disturb the mirror when slipping it on and off so that you don't have to re-adjust it.
The installation of these mirrors could be a lot easier if the customer were clued to add a drop or three of some lubricant to the plastic screw threads on the tightening knobs. One of my knobs was so difficult to turn I'm surprised it didn't twist off and break. A hint as to when the locating hole is centered directly underneath the tip of the adjusting screw is when the edge of the insert is exactly lined up with the corresponding edge of the tow mirror.
Once in place, the mirrors do not vibrate at highway speed (or below), and give a clear picture of whatever they're focused on.
I never got to use them. When I ordered them you promised it would get here two days before I left on my trip but when I was ready to leave they had not arrived yet so I had to go to Camping World and buy a set from them. The ones showed up four days after you promised. Now I spent twice as much and have an extra set of mirrors still in the box unopened.
Fits my '21 Tundra great! Stylish and e ffective!
I was searching for mirrors that were not permanent for my Tundra. These worked great.
I like the product because it fits nicely, looks good and provides improved views of what is behind me when towing my 24 foot travel trailer. However I did have to modify the wedge piece by replacing the felt with some self stick rubber cabinet door bumpers. 3 on each mirror. It wanted to slip up and down at the outer end when in place. Using the bumpers stopped this and made the fit much better. Service from etrailer was excellent and I would purchase from them again.

Still working fine. Took them off for the winter, reinstalled in march no problems.
I've used this trailer mirror for 8 years. I had to purchase another, after my original set was stolen along with my trailer, where I kept it. I only purchased the driver's side this time, as I can see to the right rear fine without the extension.
The description states that the vehicle mirrors can fold closed with the towing mirror attached. No, they can't. And they couldn't in 2013, either. I had hoped that the design of the mirror body would have been updated to allow the vehicle mirror to fold but it is still the same.
So, I did as before, and cut the bottom corner of the housing to provide clearance up to the fold point on the vehicle mirror. That's not difficult, but why the claim that the mirror can fold with the towing mirror attached? Disappointing.
Otherwise, the housing fit well over the vehicle mirror, and the attachment is solic. It's a bit of a trick to align the screw-in bolt to the wedge socket, since it can't be seen, but it's not too hard.
Side note: I've been concerned since my first purchase that I would lose the wedge. It's not attached, and could be dropped or misplaced. I attached velcro to the wedge and the inside of the housing where it won't interfere with installation. The mirror and wedge are now always together. And, if you purchase both left and right mirrors, note that they are identified as so inside the housing. Look for "LH" and "RH", inside center, toward the end. Reversing the mirrors, though they look the same, will result in lost mirrors.
If anyone should like a photo of what I did to allow the vehicle mirror to fold with the towing mirror attached, let me know.I'm not near my vehicle now, or I would take a photo and attach it.

After a year and a dozen or so uses, my opinion of this mirror remains essentially the same. It’s far superior to other add-on mirrors I’ve seen that typically strap onto the vehicle mirror. One issue I’ve had the last couple of uses is that the mirror has slipped when a hard door slam or a particularly rough pot hole hit at highway speed occurs. The mirror looks like it could slip further and fall off if not corrected. I don’t know of anything that’s changed. I just observe carefully. Still a five star review.
These mirrors are a definite upgrade from the strap on ones I’ve always had before. They look much better on the truck too.

I have to change my five stars to two because the only great thing about these mirrors are their looks, which are awesome. On the very first trip the driver side came loose and flew off while on the road. I had tightened them as much as possible before leaving. So, I have a passenger side mirror if anyone wants it. I do not recommend anyone purchase these mirrors.Sorry I dissed you strap on mirrors.
Fast shipping, good product, easy to i nstall.
The Towing Mirror is exactly what I need since I had a pair but lost one in transit. Now the Driverside mirror will cover my blind Spot!
The mirrors functioned well. Seems to be decent quality as well.
This is my third Cipa towing mirror. It appears to be identical to the others, including the fact that the mirror can’t be folded in on my 2013 Toyota Sequoia, despite claims by Cipa that it can be. I’ve attached some photos that show how I modified the housing so it would clear the vehicle mirror mount. It took less than a hour, but it’s disappointing that such a basic feature is wrongly claimed to exist.
Otherwise, the mirror is sturdy, mounts tightly to the parent mirror, and provides an improved view to the rear and adjacent travel lane.
This would be a five-star review if not for that lack of functionality.
After a little snafu with shipping I received the mirrors and am very happy with them. They fit my Toyota Tundra perfectly and actually look good. Unlike the strap on kind of mirror extensions. They don't vibrate while driving so give a clear view.
I am very happy with these mirror extensions.

I am still very happy with these mirror extensions. As I said in my previous review they look good and dont vibrate, so I get a clear image.
