Thanks for all that good info, and what you have is the Ultra-Fab Deluxe Electric Landing Gear Set # UF17-943010, which you can replace with a Lippert set with a high speed motor on you RV, though you will need to have new brackets welded on. The issue is that the Ultra-Fab has an uncommon 20-1/4 inch space between the mounting brackets, while Lippert and most others have landing gear with the standard 17-1/2 inches. So if you were okay with having new brackets welded on to meet the spacing of the Lippert landing gear, what you can use are the following: - Lippert Manual Landing Gear Set # LC333966 - Lippert Components Tuson High Speed 5th Wheel RV Landing Gear Motor # LC141893 - Lippert Ignition Proof 5th Wheel RV Landing Gear Switch with Harness # LC145236

While there is not anything specific in regards to consideration before welding, I can tell you that there are specifics in regards to fitment and placement of the brackets. I have added a cut out from the instructions which describes the placement of the brackets for the Lippert Landing Gear Set # LC333966. What you will do is first attach the brackets and then place the leg against the frame until the foot is 12 inches off of the ground. Once you do that you will want to mark the spot where the brackets are, then you will remove the brackets from the legs and proceed to weld them on at the marked spots.
