When your trailer starts rocking or shifting as you load or unload, this manual landing gear set gives you a steady, confident base. Each pair of steel jacks supports a combined 6,000 lbs and provides 37" of total lift—21" of screw travel plus 16" of drop-leg travel. The large rectangular footplates (5" long x 7-15/16" wide) spread the load on soft surfaces to keep everything stable once parked.
Older or mismatched landing gear setups are easy to replace with this kit. The connecting cross shaft extends from 41" to 71" to line up with your frame spacing, while weld stops on both sides of each leg match most existing mounts. If your brackets don’t line up, new hardware and weld-on brackets are included so you can bolt or weld everything in place without hunting for extra parts.
Rust and wear are no match for the sturdy steel construction and black powder coat finish on these legs. The aluminum housing for the gearbox adds strength without extra weight, and each leg has a built-in grease zerk so you can easily keep the internals lubricated for smooth motion season after season.
A long, 29-11/16" handle lets you raise or lower your trailer by hand whenever you need it—no power required. The gearbox works with both single- and dual-motor setups if you decide to convert to electric operation later using Lippert’s motor and switch kits. It’s a simple path from manual reliability to powered convenience without replacing the entire system.
The distance between weld stops should match up with the mounting brackets already on your trailer frame. If they don't, the new brackets will need to be welded on.

Steve at Etrailer.com did a great job walking me through the all the parts I would need to fix my landing gear. The landing gear went in really easily and looks to be very well made.
I received my new landing gear, and it was what I expected. I have not installed it yet, but after putting a temporary fix on my old unit last year, I'm sure this unit will work. The packaging is not great, I actually thought the gear box that came with was used it was so dirty, but it has no installation marks on it, so I believe it's new. The trucking company used drove off my driveway cracking the edge of the asphalt, so I'm not real excited about that either. Other than those two things, it will work...
Had some issues with the mounting brackets that were in the trailer. We didn't use the brackets that came with the kit as that would have involved cutting out the old brackets and welding in the brackets that came with the kit. We were able to get the legs installed with minimal effort and the rest of the installation went without any other issues.
This was just what I needed. The legs work perfectly. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5, there were pieces missing from the shipment and I had to purchase the missing items from a local hardware store. Also one gear box was locked up and I had to take it apart to find a piece of a wire tie inside blocking the gears. Once the piece of plastic was removed works like a charm. The fast delivery makes up for the slight inconvenience. The legs are holding my 5th wheel up with pride.
