I have tried that gate already. The hinge posts on my 2011 ram2500 are different sizes. The passenger side is larger than the driver side. That gate I tried had the same size on both ends. Please confirm that the passenger side is larger than the driver side

Expert Reply:
We had the chance to install the Stromberg Carlson 5th wheel tailgate part # VGD-10-4000 on a similar 2011 Ram 2500 and we found that it fit well and both sides of the tailgate hinge fit like it should. Check out the install video for this tailgate that I attached that shows it installed on the truck.
We also had the chance to install part # VGD-10-100 on the same 2011 Ram 2500 which I attached an install video for as well.
