Published 05/14/2021 >
Question:
I asked this question earlier but did not mention the ball is upside down. The ball is down and hitch is flush with the bed. Been that way for like five years Sorry I was not more imformative. It is stuck, I belive it should come straight up and out, is that not correct? We have used like two cans of wd-40 what about Coke Cola does it really work Thanks in advance

Expert Reply:
The Blue Ox Gooseneck Hitch Ball BX62-3604 you have requires you to engage a tab on the side and twist the ball for it to come out of your gooseneck hitch.
Since it has been installed for 5 years you may need to use some penetrating oil to soak the hitch ball for a while before it will loosen up and be able to be removed.
