Will the Kuat Transfer V2 Block My Backup Camera and License Plate on a 2017 Kia Sportage?

Will the Kuat Transfer V2 2 bike rack allow me to use back up camera? Also does this block view of plates on back?

From my research, the backup camera of your 2017 Kia Sportage is centered above the license plate. The Kuat Transfer V2 # KU74FR will not block your camera while folded up. While I cannot confirm if the Kuat Transfer V2 # KU74FR will block your backup camera with bikes loaded, one thing I recommend is to position your bikes on the rack so that the bike's frames or tires do not block the camera as much as possible. I went ahead and attached a photo of a bike mounted on the Transfer V2 with the camera (the little black piece flush top left of the license plate) in-between the bike's frames. This type of positioning will help the camera's view. In addition, anything that is mounted on the back of a vehicle via a trailer hitch is going to have a partial blockage to the backup camera.
As far as blocking the back license plates, they will not be blocked when the Transfer V2 is folded. However, the plates will be obstructed when lowered and loaded with bikes.
