Why Does Curt Hitch C15803 Not a Confirmed Fit with Aftermarket Bumper
Updated 05/05/2021 | Published 05/04/2021 >
Question:
I would like to know the specific reason that it says this hitch will not work with an aftermarket bumper. I am putting a ranch hand legend rear bumper on and the factory hitch has to be removed. The towing cap on the bumper is only 10,000 and that wont work for me. If it is something simple that i can modify my bumper for to make it work, it is not a problem. I dont ewant to order something that has to be sent back. Thank you

Aftermarket bumpers are different sizes and shapes compared to the factory bumpers so the hitches we offer like the part # C15803 are designed to fit and clear the factory bumpers but since the aftermarket bumpers are a different size there's not easy way to tell if the hitch would also fit with it and not interfere.
